He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Joost and Emilie Joost (Behnfeldt); his daughter Sandy Eberle; and his sister Marian Smith (Ken). He is survived by: his wife Irene Joost (Rohrs) of Paul's Lutheran Church Parsonage; his children, Randy Joost (Rachel), Renee Hodson (Tim) and Donna Joost; his son-in-law Tim Eberle; his grandchildren, Melanie, Kacie and LeAnn; his great grandchildren, Brynlee and Oaklynn; and his sister Connie Roehrig (Art).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (16035 Co Rd U, Napoleon, OH 43545).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
