With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Walkerow of Nashville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Heller and Bessie Heller (Oplinger); her husband Darrell Walkerow; her brothers, Warren, Richard Heller and Victor Knecht; her grandsons, David Lang and Shannon Dye; and her sons-in-law, Larry Lang and Jason Gilley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Lang of Nashville, Cheryl Arwood (Charles Robert) of Wooster and Diane Gilley of Holmesville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Matthew Martin (Tina) of Loudonville, Melissa Martin (Scott Wanner) of North Dakota, Lucas Martin (Monica) of Fredericksburg and Caleb Martin (Kathleen) of Tennessee; her great grandchildren, Hunter Martin (Malorie) of Ashland, Bryar Martin (Abigail) of Millersburg, Samantha Brannon (Martin Buren) of Shreve, Kyle Brannon of Shreve, Tyler Lowe of Kent, Jennifer Lowe of Uhrichsville, Cain, Macy, Joci Martin of Fredericksburg, Emerald and Mica Martin of Tennessee; her great great grandchildren, Emmitt, Charlotte Martin, Gwenalynn, Howard, Matthew Martin, Sophie, Mila Buren, Alexandria, Raelynn Lowe, Camden Doty, Carsen Doty, Dale Ray Dye Strait, Tarren Gilley, Derranger Spurlock, Dillanger Spurlock and Delila Spurlock; her stepgreat-grandsons, Conner Landon (Hollie), Alec Landon (Katherine Mestas), Blake Doty (Emily Thomas) and Brandon Doty (Deanna Cable); her great great grandchildren, Reed, Izzy and Brynn; and her close friends, John Martin, Terry Saurer, Mary Stoh Snyder, Ken, Barb Strayer, Jim and Donna Woodyard.
