He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Edward and Sally Barbara Mills (Russ); his former life partner Bonnie Irene Mills; and his daughter Amy Mills. He is survived by : his daughter Beth Ann Mills (Mike Brothers); his granddaughter Aubree Ann Brothers; his sisters, Rebecca Ann Lanzer, Susan Marie Cope and Barbara Jane Slutz; and his close friend Sally Swisher (Darian Chapa). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
