He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Towery and Viola Towery (Andrews); his children, Jonny E. Towery and Lynn Haldiman; his grandson Kyle Maite; and his brother Vernon "Lefty" Towery.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Towery (Dayton); his daughters, Lisa Mitchell (Andrew) and Kimberly Tolin (Bob Rich); his grandchildren, Jason Rowland, Keri Tasker, Caitlin Tasker, Kylie Shortt, Michael Haldiman, Jenny Santana and Matthew Haldiman; and his siblings, Claudena Travis, Samuel W. Towery (Penny) and Hinkle "Buddy" Towery. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dawson Funeral Home (215 W 5th St, East Liverpool, OH 43920). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Dawson Family Center.
