He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert E. Kelly and Elizabeth Vaughn Kelly; his wife Patricia Kelly; his son Herbert Kelly, Jr.; his grandson Daniel Paul Salmons; his siblings, William Kelly, Robert Kelly and Elizabeth Miller; and his sons-in-law, Chet Edwards and Larry Salmons.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Joy Gorby, Brenda Davis (David), Kellie Lembo (Garrick), Patty Black (Jim), Elizabeth Westbrook (Chris), Shirley Brinker (Dale), Nicole Kaiser (Rick), Scotty Weaver (Kylie), Ryan Lalley (Mia) and Amanda Weber. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
