It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Davis of Nelsonville, Ohio, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Reese L. Davis and Geraldine Davis (Nelson-Rutter); and his brother Roger L. Davis. He is survived by : his children, Betsy Hall (Mark) of Nelsonville, Lori Davis (Floyd Phillips) of Nelsonville, Jane Shreve (Shane) of Zanesville and James "J. D." Davis II (Becca Campbell) of Murray City; his grandchildren, Michael, Karlee, Carson, Ethan, Alexis, Loralye, Chase, Kyle, Slade, Skye and Jase; his great grandchildren, Lilliann and Cole; his sisters, Janice Williams and Kathy Jones; and his aunt Jennie Mae Altier. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
