He is survived by: his mother Barbara Dearing Runyon of Nelsonville; his wife Teresa Ann Burley Runyon; his children, Elizabeth Carpenter (Benjamin) of Morgantown, Kayla Leppert (Nicholas) of Athens, Nicholas Runyon (Samantha) of Salem, Virginia and Adam Runyon of Dublin; his grandchildren, Maxx, Cole Leppert, Owen Runyon, James, Lucas Carpenter and Oliver Runyon; and his sister Stephanie Chaffin (Glenn) of Nelsonville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of James Runyon to Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764, to help with funeral expenses.
