He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dishong and Mary Dishong (Hatfield); and his siblings, Robert "Bob" Earl Dishong, Tamela Lanning and Pamela Washburn.
He is survived by: his wife Melanie Dishong (Rose); his sons, Jerry "Little Jerry" Dishong, Ben Dishong (Ashlee) and Jon Dishong; and his grandchildren, Wyatt, Daniel, Kaleb and Jerica Dishong. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
