He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd R. Mace and Pearl M. Mace (Stover); his sons, Richard and Benjamin; and his brother Steve Mace Sr..
He is survived by : his wife Ruby Mae Mace (Coey); his sons, John Mace Jr. of Lancaster and Matthew Mace of The Plains; his sister Bonnie Mace; and his sister-in-law Brenda Mace. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
