She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Walker and Thelma Scott Walker; her husband John A. Simmons; her children, John Jr. and Lona King; and her grandchildren, Kelsey Tome, Penny Tope and Eric Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Simmons of Nelsonville, Lori Crawford (David) of Mancos, CO and Leah Tome (Phillip) of Castlerock, CO; and her brother Buck Walker of Wheelersburg, OH. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
