It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Ellis of Nelsonville, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 29, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roger Scheurell and Maxine Scheurell (Woolever); and her siblings, Ronald Scheurell, Roger Scheurell Jr. and Kathy Nelson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Tamra Evans (Shannon) of Nelsonville and Kris Brashear (Joshua) of Nelsonville; her grandchildren, Cristofer Evans (Jordanna), Alyson Evans, Samantha Glass, Amber Glass, Lizzie Glass and Dwayne Glass; and her brothers, Thomas Scheurell, Daniel Scheurell and Anthony "Tony" Scheurell. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
