He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Davis and Betty Lou Davis Johnson (Rupe); his wife Eva Marie Goddard; his daughter Janell Diener; and his grandchildren, Donald Diener III and Elaina Skidmore.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Diener Jr. (Juanita), Rebecca Kummerer (Brad), Rachel Harrington (Luke) and Stacy Rupe (William Funk); his grandchildren, Michael Stuart, Jennifer Diener, Mary Kummerer, Jason Taylor, Aiden Kummerer, Kaleb Kummerer, Hayley Bruce (Cameron), Carlos Trejo, Marissa Eulett, Madison Diener, Asia Diener, Emily Rupe, Seth Rupe, Kylie Rupe, Harley Harrington, Walker Harrington, Skyler Shope and Leah Bair; and his sister Valerie Taylor. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:55 PM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, donations can be made payable to a charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted through the funeral home.
