It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Thoma of New Albany, Ohio, born in Pickerington, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Opal shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Opal farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Thoma; and her brothers, Robert Whightsel, Bert Whightsel and Danny Whightsel. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Zinn (Alan), Carolyn Willis (Pete) and Barbara Berkemer; and her grandson Chris Berkemer.
