He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Bergman and Addie Bergman (Hasch); his wife Mary Bauer Bergman; his siblings, Eugene Bergman, Paul Michael Bergman, Carroll Bergman and Roberta Slight; and his siblings-in-law, Dolena Bergman, Leona Bergman and Jim Slight.
He is survived by: his sons, Tom Bergman (Tammy) and Tim Bergman (Kelli Bartel); his stepdaughter Christina Bauer; his grandchildren, Kyle Bergman (Hali), Cory Bergman, Maria Bergman, Luke Bergman, Sophia Bergman, Ariana Bergman, Joel Morton and Jade Morton; his brothers, Larry Bergman (Diann) and Fred Bergman (Rita); and his sisters-in-law, Ardie Bergman and Diana Bergman. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to the Elara Caring Hospice Foundation or St. John Lutheran Church in Defiance Ohio.
