Thomas J. Wilhelm Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2025, at the age of 82, Thomas J. Wilhelm of New Bavaria, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Wilhelm and Martha Wilhelm (Bostleman); his son Anthony Wilhelm; his grandson Mark Niese; and his sister Martha "Suzie" Pilger (Ed).

He is survived by: his children, Annette Niese (Allen) of Miller City, Douglas Wilhelm of Sullivan, Matthew Wilhelm of Leipsic, Adam Wilhelm (Kimberly) of Leipsic, Melissa Fischer (Matt) of Ottawa, Andrew Wilhelm (Amber) of Leipsic, Thomas Wilhelm, Jr. of Leipsic, Barbara Duling (Brad) of Ottawa, Benedict Wilhelm (Jodi) of Ottawa, Nathaniel Wilhelm of Leipsic and Nicholas Wilhelm (Kaylee) of New Bavaria; his grandchildren, Eric Niese (Hailey), Ryan Niese (Lauren), Katelyn Schroeder (Curtis), Austin, Taylor, Chelsea, Brooke, Levi Wilhelm, Gage, Morgan, Logan Wilhelm, Dane, Connor, Kierstin Duling, Parker, Kiera, Leigha, Mylie Wilhelm, Hunter, Reese, Colton, Jase and Elizabeth Wilhelm; his stepgrandchildren, Whitney Fischer and Taylor Fischer; his great grandchildren, Maizy, Casen, Cole, Noah, Wyatt, Jackson Niese and Rylee Wilhelm; and his brothers, Tim Wilhelm (Lorraine), Peter Wilhelm (Julie), Wiley Wilhelm (Nancy), Stephen Wilhelm (Sandra) and Daniel Wilhelm (Janice). He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
