He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew J. Brockert and Elizabeth M. Brockert (Mestemaker); his wife Janice A. Scheblo; his daughter Christine Brockert; and his siblings, Joan Seitz, Marjorie Steinke, Arthur, Robert, James and Mark Brockert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Becky Schmiesing (Dennis) of Sunset, SC, Pam Houseworth (Chris) of New Bremen and Jenny Wendel (John) of New Bremen; his sister Susan Fischer-Ligget of Wapakoneta; and his in-laws, William Scheblo, Joyce Brockert and Ruth Scheblo. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, and his numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
