Rosalia M. Larger Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Rosalia M. Larger (New Bremen, Ohio). Rosalia, born on February 6, 1934, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brothers, Alvin Beumer (Linda), Arnold Beumer (Jean) and Richard Beumer; her in-laws, Fred Rose and Leonard Klosterman; her parents-in-law, Martin and Elizabeth Larger (Arling); and her in-laws, Ann DeLoye (Norbert), Urban Larger (Mary), Catherine Davis (Orva), Richard Larger, Arthur Larger, Irene Larger, Robert Larger (Phyllis), Orville Larger, Martha Phlipot (Dorvan), Eugene Larger, Betty Puthoff (Melvin), Vernon Larger, Nelson Larger (Virginia) and Marilyn Monnin (Roger).

She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Homan (Kevin) of McCartyville, Martha Koenig (Greg) of Botkins, Bernard Larger (Katherine) of New Bremen, Frank Larger (Rosie) of Wapakoneta, John Larger (Linda) of Greenwood and William Larger (Carrie) of Kapolei, Hawaii.; her sisters, Sister Marita Beumer C., Irene Rose, Juanita Klosterman, Ruth Pleiman (Ralph) and Rita Pleiman (Carl); and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Mary Larger and Ruth Ann Larger. She is also survived by her twenty-two grandchildren, sixty-three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home (225 W Monroe St, New Bremen, OH 45869). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (9377 OH-119, Anna, OH 45302).

Memorial contributions in Rosie's memory can be made to the American Red Cross, or to Sacred Heart Church in support of their sister parish in Booneville, KY.
