He was predeceased by: his parents, Brice Sands and Bernice Sands; his siblings, O. G. (Janice) and Bennie; his father-in-law Mike; and his sister-in-law Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Burdo; his siblings, Sandy (John), Don and John (Dawn); his children, Jessi (Jason), Tom (Tonya), John (Michelle) and Brian; his in-laws, Joy, Jim, Chris and Rob; his grandchildren, Nathan, Josie, Danielle and Samantha; and his great grandchildren, Blayke, Cambria, Landon, Silas and Yvette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fraley Funeral Home (507 Jefferson St, New Carlisle, OH 45344). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
