He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Roberts and Faye Roberts (Williams); his sister Carol Hargrove; and his brothers-in-law, Roy Hargrove, James Davis and William Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Browning; his daughter Teresa Baker (Richard) of New Carlisle; his grandchildren, Daniel Baker (Georgia) of Atlanta and Jennifer Baker of Columbus; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Davis of Hamlin and Pansie Davis of Mooresboro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
