Gay McKenzie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gay McKenzie of New Carlisle, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gay McKenzie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar McKenzie and Maggie McKenzie; his wife Sandra; and his siblings, Red, Garland, Strong, Oscar Jr., Ruth and Clifton.
He is survived by: his children, Craig, Lisa Wilson (Guy) and Scott McKenzie (Dee); his grandchildren, Joey McKenzie (Becky), Tyler Wilson (Ashley), Jenny Angert (Chris), Brad Wilson (Abby) and Carson McKenzie; his great grandchildren, Liam, Braxton, Noah, Leighton, Donovan, Amelia, Jack, Rylan, Kason, Caroline, Beckham, Rowan and Theodore; and his grandchild Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (411 E 2nd St, Dayton, OH 45402). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
