He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lowrey and Dorothy Lowrey; and his grandparents, Earl and Maggie Allen. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Amy, Jade and Michael; his grandchildren, Shawn, Kaitlyn, Mason, Lance and Riayn; and his great grandchildren, Waylon and Raya.

In lieu of flowers, it was Rick's wish that donations be made to the New Carlisle American Legion Post 286, New Carlisle Ohio where he proudly served as an officer for 14 years and spent many wonderful hours playing cards with his cherished friends.
