He was predeceased by: his parents, Darby Nelson and Kathleen Gebhart (Kunz); and his sisters, Pamela Taynor and Darcy Nelson. He is survived by: his half-brother Robert Nelson; his brother-in-law Hank Taynor; and his nephews, David Taynor (Jodean) and Paul Taynor (Erin).
