Edward Barr Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Barr of New Concord, Ohio, born in Byesville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 6, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Edward farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Edward is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty J. Cornette; and his children, Kevin Barr of Missouri, Lisa Lucas of Georgia, Sheila Poland of Ohio, Kyle Barr of South Carolina, James Sasser of Florida and Timothy Sasser of Ohio. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Before his death, Buddy requested no flowers or service at the funeral home.
