He was predeceased by: his father Randy Simmons; and his nephew Mark. He is survived by: his mother Martha Honabarger Sycks; his children, Erinn Simmons and Sasha Andrewjeski (Riley Judson); his granddaughters, Kaylynn, Athena and Freya; his sisters, Jennifer Robbins (Paul) and Ursula Corbett (Travis); his nieces and nephews, Abby (Andrew), Marley, Racheal (Michael), Claire, Thane and Kelly; and his great-nephew Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Buckeye Hospice in appreciation for the care they provided to Lance.
