He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Bolen and Ann Bolen (Kidd); and his sister Darnell Shatzer. He is survived by: his children, Jason Adams, Dannell Buchanan (Ben), Michelle Kidd (Noel) and Lester Ramey (Wendy); and his brother Randall "Monk" Adams. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
