He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald William and Ivy Irene Rittgers Ruff. He is survived by: his wife Helen Louise Hicks; his children, Janet Cochenour (Dean) of Hilton Head, SC and William Todd Ruff of Oyster Bay, NY; his stepson Dean Redd of Lancaster; his grandsons, Kyle, Alex Cochenour and Ethan Ruff; his great grandchild Liam Cochenour; and his sisters, Jane Shaw of Chillicothe and Joyce Steinbrink of Canal Winchester.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery.
