It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Eugene Holstein of New Lexington, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Everett Eugene Holstein; his brother Brett Holstein; and his brother-in-law David Jones. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Silcott Holstein; his wife Sherry Lynn Criner Holstein; his children, Bobbiesue Hicks (David) and Jacob Holstein (Tina) of New Lexington; his grandchildren, Ashlee Williams, Alyson Williams, Victoria Lehman, Alanah Williams, Hanna Hicks, Camden Hicks and Wyatt Holstein; his sisters, Laura Jones of Thornville, Gina Keller (David) of Somerset, Theresa Cain of London, Suzette Adams of Thornville and Michele Higgins (Ed) of Derby; and his friends, Jerry Smith and Larry Runyon. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
