She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Bolyard and Lessie Shahan Bolyard; her husband Wilbur Barnes; her daughter Luann McCoy; and her siblings, Clarence, Clyde, Rufus, Ralph, Vincent, Gerald Bolyard, Lucille Sherlock, Ruby Decot, Mary Reed and Ruth Purvis.
She is survived by: her children, Doris Christine Connell of Cross Lanes, WV, Wilbur Dean Barnes (Pat) of New Lexington, Margaret Burgess (John) of Lancaster, Deanna Mock (James), David Barnes (Lydia) and Jed Barnes of New Lexington; and her sister-in-law Janice Carrigan of Glenford. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
