It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Imelda R. Smeltzer of New Lexington, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John A. Kunkler and Mary Gordon Kunkler; her former life partner Donald O'Farrell; her husband John Smeltzer; her siblings, Mary Ann Eberly (John), Ambrose Kunkler, William Kunkler, Al Kunkler (Kay) and Bernard Kunkler; and her sister-in-law Janet Kunkler.

She is survived by : her daughters, Rita Ervin (Scott) of New Lexington, Janet Wainwright of New Lexington and Linda Coffman (Steve) of New Lexington; her grandchildren, Billy Walker (Amanda), Kelly Wells (Jason), Courtney Helt, Carrie Wells, Adam Wainwright (Andrea), Kristie Wainwright and Jordan Coffman (Cassi); her great grandchildren, Abby, Autumn Wainwright, Kaylon Torres, Aaliyah Davis, Teddi, Georgi Walker, Liam, Owen Wells and Peyton Coffman; her brothers, Harold Kunkler (Judy), Gordon Kunkler and Lewis Kunkler (Carol); and her sisters-in-law, Donna and Cora Kunkler.
