He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Siemer and Louise Franz Siemer; his grandson Jacob; and his siblings, Ed, Walter, Joe and Martha.

He is survived by : his wife Marjorie Dew Siemer; his children, Donna Gabbard (Bill) of Junction City, Mary Jean Welch (Doug) of Pataskala, Steve Siemer (Carolyn) of Crooksville, Teresa Medaugh (Jonathan) of Corning, Tom Siemer (Chris) of New Lexington, Tim Siemer of Lancaster, Scott Siemer (Mechelle) of Somerset, Jamie Siemer (Kelly) of Strongsville and John Siemer of New Lexington; and his siblings, Bill Siemer of Hammersville and Rosemarie Yuhas of Avon Lake. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
