Barbara Pickering Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Pickering of New London, Ohio, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Mahl (Pflieger) and Howard Mahl; and her sister Annie Miller. She is survived by: her husband Joel Pickering; her son Vernon Pickering (Rachel); her grandchildren, Adelle, Kalynne, Mallory and Claire; her son Philip Pickering (Stephanie Lynn); and her grandchildren, Peyton, Beau, Brian Pickering (Kaylin) and Maverick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New London Alliance Church (4625 OH-162, New London, OH 44851). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to American Cancer Society or SouthernCare Hospice.
