She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Cotter (Spencer) and Verl Cotter; her husband Dare "Ed" McConnell; her son Jonathan McConnell; and her brother Robert Cotter.
She is survived by: her children, Christine McConnell (Jon Trollen) of Cincinnati, Steve McConnell (Valerie Harms) of Cincinnati, Linda Minton (Mike) of Cincinnati and Denise McConnell (Aaron Salmon) of New London; her grandchildren, Andrew, Katie, Kim, Rachael, Vages, Marie, Alex, Dare, Drew, Lydia and Alyssa; her great grandchildren, Emmet, Otti, Kaia and Psalm; and her siblings, Luthur Cotter (Cam), Carl Cotter (Diane), Albert Cotter (Julie) and Naomi Hicks. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
