We announce the death of Melvin E. Marrison of New Lyme, Ohio, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 88. Melvin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Melvin will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Melvin’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Marrison and Clara Marrison (Viton). He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Zaebst (Zaebst); and his children, Richard Marrison, Joanne Fyfe (Bob), William Marrison and April Galownia (Charlie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
