He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Slonaker and Allie Mae Cooley Slonaker; his siblings, George, Charles, Richard, Robert, Harold, Floyd, Crystal Slonaker, Betty Dunn, Linda Dunn and Lucille Addlesburger; and his son Jacob Newlen.

He is survived by : his children, Brent Bennett (Ashlea) of New Matamoras, Michael Mason Slonaker of New Matamoras and Lacey Bennett (Luke); his grandchildren, Kaylea, Brenton, Cohen Bennett, Hunter, Aleigh Moore and Michael Newlen; and his brothers, Chester, Jerry and Franklin Slonaker.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Hadley Funeral Home (700 Main St, New Matamoras, OH 45767). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at the Grandview Cemetery.
