In loving memory of Earsel Cheek of New Miami, Ohio, who departed this world on October 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Earsel leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Cheek and Lizzy Cheek (Marion); his daughter Rita Smith; and his siblings, Annette McKeehan (Tom), John E. Cheek (JoAnn) and Gleda Sipe (Ralph).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Cheek; his children, Donald Cheek (Donna), Teresa Roberts (Todd) and Kenneth Cheek (Sandie); and his son-in-law Jay Smith. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home (330 Pershing Ave, Hamilton, OH 45011). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
