As Cathy departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Cathy. Though Cathy may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her father Donald J. Erwin; her sister Verna Erwin; and her in-laws, Charles and Mary Pat Lehnerd. She is survived by: her mother Peggy Scott Erwin of Ft. Myers, FL; her husband Charles F. Lehnerd, Jr.; her daughters, Amanda of New Middletown and Dawn Lehnerd of New Middletown; and her sister Lynda Humphries (Joe) of New Middletown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clemente Funeral Home (10170 Main St, New Middletown, OH 44442). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Church (10143 Main St, New Middletown, OH 44442).
