As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Harper and Lorene Harper (Bitikofer); and her sister Donna Morris (Bob). She is survived by: her daughters, Traci DeBord of Jamestown, OH and Nikki Nazaroff (Mark) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Tori Hernandez (David), James Johnson and Matthew; and her brother Edward Harper (Linda) of New Philadelphia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Smith-Varns Funeral Home (115 Andreas Dr NE, Sugarcreek, OH 44681). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Barb's final request is, that due to her allergy to flowers over the years, she would like new TOYS and BOARD GAMES be sent in her memory instead of flowers.
