David B. Horsfall Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David B. Horsfall (New Philadelphia, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Horsfall and Margaret Horsfall (Jones); his sister Sarah Horsfall; his half-sister Rebecca Ann Purin; his sister-in-law Sandra Horsfall; and his sibling's children, Rachael Horsfall and Joel Horsfall.
He is survived by: his brothers, Franklin Horsfall and John Horsfall (Marian); his siblings' children, Shelley McGarr (Scott), Becky Lucken (Jason), Jonalee Lesjak (Mike), Bruce Horsfall (Susie) and Rob Horsfall (Amy); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brittany O'Connell (Phil), Rachael Lucken, Ethan McGarr and Noah McGarr.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663).
