With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna M. Barnes of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edna M. Barnes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband Forest W. Barnes; and her grandson Michael Morrell. She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra Barnes of Bolivar, F. Colleen Johnson (Damon) of New Philadelphia and Joyce Morrell of New Philadelphia; her sister Marilyn Lint of North Carolina; and her grandchildren, Kyle Johnson (Nikki) and Laura Azzardi (Maddy). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to The First Baptist Church of New Philadelphia, 878 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
