With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Jane Gartrell of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eva Jane Gartrell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James D. Flowers and Florence Lengler (Campbell); and her sister Virginia. She is survived by: her husband John R. Gartrell; her sons, Troy Jones (Amy) of Kentucky and Daniel Gartrell (Julie) of Dennison; and her grandchildren, Haley, Branden, Isabelle, Alex (Shayla), Brittney and Ashley (Nicholas). She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home & Crematory (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
