Jean left this world on July 26, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oather Carpenter and Catherine Carpenter of Quaker City. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Smith (Steve) of Parkersburg, WV and Sherri Butler of New Philadelphia; her brother Donnie Carpenter of Quaker City; her grandchildren, Raymond Burt (Stacy), Tessa Burt, Nicole Jones (Drew) and Sean Smith (Brittany); her great grandchildren, Tyler Burt, Ashten and Salem Smith; her sibling's children, Cathy Carpenter, Scott and David Carpenter; her stepchildren, Michael Ebeling and Lori Fogle (Tom); and her pet Lucy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (291 Pike St, Quaker City, OH 43773). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
