He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dinger and Naomi Bradley Dinger; and his grandson Wyatt Dinger. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Miller; his children, Joyce Anderson (Eric) of New Philadelphia, John Dinger (Marna) of Gnadenhutten and Sarah Alexander (Paul) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Reed Anderson (Aeriel Green), Nathan Anderson (Morgan Karam), Garret Dinger (Sarah Fowler), Cale Dinger, Ellie Alexander and Evie Alexander; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Beau, Brody and Brock.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Paul's United Church of Christ (114 N High St, Port Washington, OH 43837).
