It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Hizer of New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Shaw and Mildred Singer Shaw; her son Eric Hizer; and her sister Grace Shaw. She is survived by : her spouse C. Thomas Hizer; her sons, Nicholas Hizer (Misty) of Bedford, Nathan Hizer (Hedda) of Prescott and Matt Hizer (Laci) of New Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Nyah, Liev, Isla, Imogen, Michael, Lucy and Leah.
