We bid farewell to Lena Edmon of New Philadelphia, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Lena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Wales and Ina Adams (Bates); her spouse Cloyce Edmon; and her siblings, Joseph Adams and Margaret Damron.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Roth (Tim) of New Philadelphia and Cathy Zeller (Dave) of New Philadelphia; her granddaughters, Lori Jacobson (P. J.), Jennifer Borras (Ethan), Leanne Miller (Blake), Chrissy Henry (Sam), Katie Dietrich (Jeff) and Kim Zeller (Mandy); her niece Sharon Nelson (Bernie); and her close friend Ruth Ann Johns. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home and Crematory (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Lena's name be directed to Ohio's Hospice, 716 Commercial Avenue SW, New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
