She was predeceased by : her parents, Agnes Gordon (Smith) of Dover and Wade V. Everhart of Massillon; her husband Herb Blackson of Dover; her sister Shirley Graef (Everhart) of New Philadelphia; and her half-brother Richard Simmerman of Massillon.
She is survived by : her pet Roxie; her children, Cindy (Bob), Tony Chaudrue (Theresa Kitzmiller), Russ Swegheimer of Florida and Michael Swegheimer (Patty) of Canton; her brother Wade Everhart of Massillon; her half-sister Regina LaGlise; her grandchildren, Michael Michel of Canton, Seth Swegheimer (Lexi) of Dover, Elizabeth "Libby" Swegheimer (Matti), Parker Swegheimer, Marcie Arena (Patrick) of Washington, Jason Lorenz (Lisa) of New Philadelphia and Lucas Chaudrue (Alli); and her great grandchildren, Logan, Linden, Lilly Swegheimer, Avayah, Cade Lorenz, Kevin and Kenra Wright.
In lieu of flowers, the family would encourage donations to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society be made in her name.
