It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Lenore Hare of New Philadelphia, Ohio, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Edson and Lydia Edson. She is survived by : her husband John R. Hare; her grandchildren, Megan Steel, Julie Rest, Tyler Hare, Meredith Hansen Ammons (Tyler), Matthew Hansen (Kayla), Hannah Hendrix, Audra Hendrix, Marshall Hansen, Coryn Hendrix and Emma Kim-Hare; her great grandchildren, Kylie Steel, Kassidy Steel, Karley Steel and Hazel Ammons; and also, Richard Hare (Kelly), Christine Hansen (Jeff), Lisa Rest (Chuck), Jeffrey Hare (Cindi) and Dana Hendrix.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County or the Dover Public Library in Dover, Ohio.
