He is survived by: his wife Marylin; his family Marylin; his sons, Douglas Carpenter (Teri Lynn) of New Philadelphia and Christopher Carpenter (Beth) of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jacob Carpenter and Noah Carpenter (Maleigha); his great grandchild Olive; his granddaughter Hallie Carpenter; and his brother John Carpenter (Carolyn) of Dover. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
