He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Smith and Sarah Martha; his wife Mary Smith; and his siblings, Bill, Don, Jim, Bob, David Smith, Margaret Phillips, Cindy Strunk and Sheila Newell.
He is survived by: his children, Misty Meiman (Scott), Cynthia Helton (Neil), Lacy Lunsford (Aron) and Wesley Smith (Nicole). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
