He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Gabbard and Joseph Gabbard; and his sister Helen Rowan. He is survived by: his wife Leatha (Combs); his daughters, Sheila Boone (Robby), Rachel Gelhaus (Carl) and Lisa Gambrell (Tim); and his grandchildren, Kimberly Wagner (Nick), Tyler, Austin, Jack, Grant, Alyssa, Braeden, Scarlett, Paul, Lincoln, Finley, Luke, Gavin, Rosie, Beckett and Kyla.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. C. Nurre Funeral Home (New Richmond) (200 Western Ave, New Richmond, OH 45157).
