He was predeceased by: his parents, George H. Elchert and Cecilia M. Elchert (Boes). He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. "Pat" Elchert of New Riegel; his children, Connie Bustamante of Findlay and Rodney Elchert (Sara) of New Riegel; and his granddaughters, Nicole, Ashley and Brittany.
